Registering To Vote:
To register to vote you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Connecticut, who will be 18 prior to the primary/election day. To download a Voter Registration Form click here. The address for Stamford residents to mail form:

Voter registration information changes are made by completing and submitting a new Voter Registration Form.

Registering With A Political Party:
Under Connecticut Statutes you cannot vote in a Political Party's Primary unless you are a member of its Party. The political parties in Connecticut include: Democrat, Green, Independent, Libertarian, Republican, Unaffiliated (no party selection).

Absentee Ballot:
Any registered voter, if unable to vote in person, may vote by absentee ballot for one of the following reasons: out of town during election hours, illness or physical disability, active service in the United States Armed Forces, religious tenets, service as an election official.
